Job Description

Warehouse ControllerMy client is an industry leading event stage manufacturer and hire company who have gained an excellent reputation throughout the event and television industries.My Client is searching for a Warehouse/Operations Controller to work with a small group of experienced stage builders based at their facility.Experience working within the event hire industry is an advantage, however full training on products, procedures and systems will be provided.Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To lead in organising with other members of staff the daily staffing requirements of the department including scheduling of all crew and booking of temporary staff
  • To lead in organising with other members of staff the daily transport requirements of the department including scheduling of all vehicle movements and booking of outside transport
  • To assist in preparing all hire orders for despatch including the loading/unloading of vehicles. This will involve manual handling of staging systems and operating a forklift truck.
  • To check customer returns for accuracy and report shortage and damages to the office department.
  • To ensure that all stock movements, to and from the warehouse, are correctly and promptly recorded as per the Company’s procedures.
  • To ensure that the Company’s trading stock, including hire equipment is kept in good condition. Regular maintenance checks are to form part of this function.

  • Required to work physically in an indoor and outdoor environment
  • Basic Computer Skills
