Job Description

Job Title: SEN Teaching AssistantStart Date: From Monday 11thDecember 2023Salary: £85- £100 daily- dependant on UmbrellaLocation: EnfieldContract: Full time, Long-TermAre you a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needsJoin us at our client Primary School in Enfield, where your passion for supporting children with ASD, Downs Syndrome, and various SEND will be highly valued.Your dedication and passion will contribute to creating a supportive and enriching learning environment.Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Diverse Needs:Provide dedicated support to a mixed group of students ranging from Year 4 to Year 10, with a focus on children with ASD, Downs Syndrome, and various SEND.
  • Engagement and Enthusiasm:Bring enthusiasm and engagement to the classroom, fostering a positive learning environment for the students.
  • Personal Care Support:Assist in meeting personal care needs, particularly supporting a girl with health issues.
  • Flexible Availability:For long-term positions, be available Monday to Friday, from 8:15 am to 3:45pm.

Requirements:
  • Experience:Previous experience supporting children with ASD/SEND needs is essential.
  • Passion:A genuine passion for supporting the unique needs of children with SEND.

  • Personal Care:Ability and willingness to support with personal care needs.
