Job Description

Quantity Surveyor - Public SectorLocation: Enfield, LondonSalary: Up to £65,000 per annumType: Fixed Term Contract (Minimum 12 months)Company Overview: Our client, a leading player in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a fixed-term contract in Enfield, London. The client, who wishes to remain anonymous, specializesin Fit Out and Residential projects, primarily within the public sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Quantity Surveyor to contribute to high-profile construction projects while enjoying a competitive salary package.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cost estimation and budgeting for projects.
  • Prepare and manage tender documents.
  • Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor agreements.
  • Monitor project costs and financial progress.
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports and financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
  • Strong background in Fit Out and Residential projects, with a preference for public sector experience.
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-related software and tools.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
