Job Description

Our client, A well know Haulage company based in Enfield need an old school Night Planner. Is transport and Logistics in your blood If organising and managing loads, vehicles and dispatch is your strength then this is a chance not to be missed. This is a Monday to Friday position working from 9pm to approx. 7am. The Starting salary will be £36,000 pa or £14 per hour during your trial period, with opportunities of earning more through either bonuses, Overtime or incentives. The Transport Planner will join a team who report directly to the owner of the company and will be fully supported by a very experienced and professional team.Duties include:

  • Making sure that all vehicles are unloaded / loaded by the team correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the operation complies with all relevant legal requirements.
  • Vehicle weights limits, driver’s hours when routeing your vehicles are in line with compliance and allocated plan.
  • Manage the adherence to reach the set service and maintenance standards in the depot.
  • To ensure all Vehicles are inspected and Drivers have completed relevant paperwork accurately.
  • Ensure that all relevant information is entered and updated through each shift.
  • Liaise with the rest of the management team regarding any Operational issues which includes; Vehicle upkeep, Warehouse requirements, Compliance, Damages etc.
    • Salary:£14.00 per hour (£36,000 +) Monday to Friday 9pm - 7am (some flexibility is needed.)Additional Benefits & Requirements
