Finance ManagerNorth London - Potters Bar / EnfieldCirca £50,000 - £60,000 (Depending on experience)Are you currently working in practice and seeking your first move into commerce, or an industry finance professional seeking your next step towards a Financial Controller roleWe are currently partnering a high growth division of a global multi £Billion market leader who is seeking an ambitious finance professional to join their growing team at an exciting time of growth.Reporting to the Head of Finance the role has scope to provide a wide variety of responsibilities and development opportunities around Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Financial Reporting. Some of the duties will include:* Generating business flash P&L reports: on company, revenue, profitability.* Work with wider finance team on ad hoc projects including project appraisal & decision support.* Support the wider Finance Team in daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles. * Auditor support: Prepare for annual audit then work with auditors to provide with information and explanation to satisfy any queries.* Supporting the Financial Controller to ensure correct accounting treatment is applied.* Cashflow Management - accurately forecasting cash balance for reporting into Group Treasury. * Treasury Accounting - reconciliation of multi-currency bank balances including intercompany trading accounts.* Stock Accounting- supporting the Head of Operations and Financial Controller with action focussed stock reporting. * Banking relationships - support Head of Finance to ensure good relationships with banks, managing Letter of Credit process, or UK Export Finance requirements.* Reconcile accounts - prepare trial balance and support Financial Controller in reconciliation of balance sheet.* Exposure to annual transfer pricing returns for Group.* Acting as an ERP super-user for Finance, helping drive a continuous improvement mentality in process, and supporting a strong internal control culture.What we are looking for:* Part Qualified Accountant or Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA.* Must have a good level of technical accounting knowledge (Ideally IFRS15 or FRS 102). * Competent user of Excel with the ability to analyse large volumes of data.* An inquisitive mind that seeks to drive continuous improvement.* Excellent communication and Finance Business Partnering skills.AGY - Vitae Financial RecruitmentWe Exist To Be Different - Membership NOT Registration
