Job Description

Are you passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for young childrenStep Teachers are working with "Good" Ofsted-rated Day Nursery in Enfield to find an experienced and qualified Early Years Practitionerto join their team from April 2024. The Nursery is eager to findan Early Years Practitionerwith a minimum of a Level 3 qualification who is ready to contribute to their safe, fun and nurturing environment and who can build strong relationships with the childrento create happy memories of this formative time in their young lives. Early Years Practitioner- Role:

  • Supporting the development of children’s language and communication skills.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required.
  • Preparing and setting up activities, ensuring that resources are available and used appropriately.
  • Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements.
  • Fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere.
Early Years Practitioner- Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an Early Years Practitioner in a nursery setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification preferred.
