Job Description

My client, a leading engineering company based in Enfield are looking to recruit a CNC Miller to work on a full-time permanent basis. Candidates will also be required to do CNC laser work for which full training will be given. This will suit candidates lookingfor a varied role with an small/medium sized company where they feel appreciated and valued.Working as part of a small team, candidates should have a flexible attitude towards work duties as the role will be varied as follows;Main duties:

  • Manufacturing small batch components from drawings and specifications and part modifications.
  • Operating 3 axis CNC Mills, setting & programming when required.
  • Operating CNC Lasers, setting and programming when required.
  • Light assembly work and other duties as and when required.
Person specification:
  • Mechanical engineer along with experience in CNC programming and operating.
  • Practical mechanical engineering background.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail, accurate and efficient.
  • Working to strict standards and time parameters with a can-do attitude.
  • Work to and adhere to Health and safety within the department.
Hours of work are 07.30 - 16.15 Monday to Thursday and 07.30 - 13.30 Fridays covering a total of 39 hours per week.In addition, we are also recruiting for a Manual Machinist working the same hours.
