Art and Photography Teacher/ ASAP Start/ Long Term About the role:As an Art and Photography Teacher, you will be an integral part of a team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything they do. You will plan, assess and deliver outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approaches thatenable all young people to learn, whilst ensuring that pastoral needs are also met. You will establish excellent relationships with parents and carers and inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, families and other professionals. As this is a smallschool, alongside Art and Photography you will also be tasked with delivering food technology at KS3 using the Food Fact for Life programme and the NCFE Level 1 / 2 Technical Award in Food and Cookery at KS4.This role involves meeting the needs of children and young people in an academically driven and therapeutic school. Candidates should be dedicated to promoting confident and capable young individuals who are well-prepared for their GCSE examinations andbeyond. I am keen to hear from teachers who have experience working with children with SEND andautism however, due to the supportive culture at this School, this position may also be suitable for mainstream and Early Career Teachers who feels they are ready to take on a challenge. Additionally, candidates should have experience in teaching GCSE andalternative Level 2 qualifications.The ideal candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to deliver high-quality and effective secondary teaching, engaging and motivating young people throughout their education.
