Job Description

We have a current opportunity for a Administrator/PA based in Enfield on a contract basis. For further information about this position please apply.To provide and supervise a high quality administrative, clerical and PA service to the Senior Service Lead, Service Leads and teams within ECS, assisting patients and their carers who access the Trust services.To take responsibility for all aspects of the smooth running of the service area. To organise both clinical and non-clinical staff ensuring that all available resources are managed effectively. To manage problem situations as and when they arise, this includestechnical, staffing issues, and service user and carer situations. To ensure there is adequate admin and clinical staff cove at all times so that patient care is never compromised. Duties & Responsibilities

  1. To provide a comprehensive secretarial service to the service /
  1. To operate a desktop PC, drafting and typing of letters, typing of assessments, reports and any general correspondence as requested by the team. .
  1. To organise monthly meetings as requested, including preparation of agendas, taking and transcribing minutes as
  1. To receive telephone calls and emails from outside agencies, deal with them if possible or refer on as
  1. Maintain an effective brought forward system in line with the needs of the service/dept.
  1. Provide statistics and reports as and when
  1. Ensure compliance with local policies and maintain accurate
  1. Deal with correspondence on behalf of the management team as
  1. Maintain and progress filing
  1. To have a working knowledge of the Data Protection Act, and its requirements, in respect to confidentiality for both patients and staff and ensuring any computerised information system is maintained as
  1. Deal with issues that arise appropriately, including enquiries or complaints from members of the public and patients. Where appropriate refer to another officer of the Trust, ensuring that no issue is inappropriately delayed in being actioned because ofthe absence of the management
