Job Description

Administrative Assistant Enfield £15,121.08 per annumPermanent, Part Time (27 hours per week)Our client is an established North London Housing Association, working across four boroughs - Enfield, Barnet, Haringey and Waltham Forest. Their purpose is to identify local needs, to respond to these needs with local solutions, and to provide excellent local services. They invest in high quality housing, support and services that are affordable and accessible to those in housing need.Do you have strong administrative and/or secretarial skills If so they’re looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their excellent administrative and secretarial support to the Supported & Retirement Housing team. Supporting the team you will help them achieve their goal of delivering efficient and effective accommodation and community based services.Key responsibilities

  • Prepare documents for all aspects of housing management, ensuring these are accurately filed.
  • Maintaining filing system and archiving files and other documents as required.
  • Keep databases up to date with resident and property changes including start and end of tenancies, the setting up of new properties and CORE returns.
  • Complete and process Allpay cards, direct debit mandates and provide support and training on the Allpay service for team members.
  • Update and organising BCP plans and assisting with BCP tests.
  • You’ll support the team with various administrative tasks, including mail merges, training, on call rotas, updating spreadsheets/databases.
  • You’ll print and send quarterly rent statements and newsletters, and application packs to prospective residents.
  • Collect, collate and input data into various formats and/ or reports for both internal and external monitoring
  • You’ll place orders with suppliers, coding invoices and dealing with any queries relating to invoices.
  • Their ideal candidate
  • Experience of working in a similar administrative or secretarial role, experience of social housing or with elderly/young people would be advantageous however is not essential.
  • You’ll have experience of working with spreadsheets and databases
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication
