Job Description

Administration Officer Contract: Full-Time - PermanentShift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 5.00pm, 4.30pm finish on Friday (37.5 hours per week)Salary: £18,000.00 to £20,000.00 Per Annum depending on experienceBenefits: 33 days annual leave entitlement inclusive of bank holidays and Free Car ParkingAbout us / Administration Officer: BEC Consultants is a National Business Energy Consultancy with over 120 years of industry knowledge and experience. Using our expertise, buying power and supplier relationships, we provide bespoke energy contract pricing to businesses across the UK. BECConsultants is a rapidly growing consultancy who has market presence and offices across the UK. We are now looking to grow our Administration team therefore, seeking a responsible Administrator to support business energy contract sales & join our successfulteam in Leicester The Job Role / Administration Officer:

  • Communicates with internal customers in a clear, professional, and articulate manner, mainly by telephone but also via email. Ensures that data input, quality and compliance standards are always upheld. Supports the sales operation by accurately completingprice requests in a timely manner and follows the differing prescribed processes by supplier.
  • Utilises strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Software, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
  • Needs to understand and interpret data, formulating feedback for failed sales contracts having analysed data to establish the root cause of issues and establish an effective course of corrective action to prevent repeat
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines, working under pressure to exceed both internal and external expectations
  • Able to produce invoicing for both internal and external purposes
  • Be the point of contact for supplier-liaison for processing sales contracts and updating/amending pricing functionality. Also, being the central point of contact to answer/resolve basic sales queries
  • Attend work as scheduled and follows company absence reporting requirements.

  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Excellent skills in MS Office in specific MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt in a fast-paced and constantly changing industry
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and complete required work accurately
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work with / without supervision
  • Responds positively to feedback and coaching provided
