Job Description

RecruitPol Ltd are currently looking for a Thermoforming Technician to join our clients NPD Team in ElyYour role:The Sample area is an important part of the New Product Development (NPD) department working closely with the both Technical and Sales areas. As a Thermoforming Technician you will be producing finishing prototypes for customer review and trials as wellas working with inhouse systems for the packing of the standard production items ready for dispatch.Your primary tasks as a Thermoforming Technician will be:

  • Carrying out daily and weekly checks on manufacturing equipment
  • Producing prototype samples of food trays, processing material through various machinery to achieve high quality products
  • Maintaining high levels of attention to detail at all times
  • Carrying out quality checks on in-house manufactured products
  • Completing associated paperwork
  • Assisting in other areas of the business as and when requires
  • Some packages weigh 25Kgs and whilst every effort has been made, some manual handling will be required
  • Keeping the area clean and tidy at all times.
Your profile:You know how to organise your own workday and you have the will to succeed. You ensure quality in handling all tasks from start to finish. Furthermore:
  • You must have the ability to read, write and speak English to high standards
  • You have strong IT competencies, including Microsoft Office and you possibly have knowledge of CRM and M3
  • A good communicator and articulate
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure
  • Work as an individual and within a team with a professional attitude
  • Being able to multi task and be part of different stages of production
  • You are a service-minded team player with lots of initiative, and good at communicating at all levels.
Your Hours40hrs a week, to be worked Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00 (withunpaid lunch break). On occasion you may need to work additional hours to adapt to business needs.
