SEN Instructor– (Special Educational Needs, Outskirts of Cambridge) needed!I am currently working with a great school on an exciting new SEN Instructor role in the Cambridge area.Starting from as soon as possible or January 2024, the school are looking for an dedicated SEN Instructor to join them on a permanent basis.The School:• Most recent Ofsted rating was good with outstanding areas• Secondary aged students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties• Gives a positive educational experience• Provides a well resourceful environment to both staff and students• Delivers a tailored education programme in the morning and offers off-site activities in the afternoon• Has a highly supportive senior leadership team• Maintain small classes sizes of 6 - 8 studentsThe Role (SEN Instructor):• To teach and prepare the students for the next stage in their lives• Supporting within different classes• Involved with extended learning activities (trampolining, go-karting, fishing, cooking, bowling etc.)• The students can present challenging behaviours at times• A varied position that involves a mix of activities• Fantastic career progression possible• Excellent starting salaryWhat you will need:• Previous experience within a mainstream school, SEN school or youth work• An enthusiasm towards learning to help motivate the students• To be able to think outside of the box• Strong communication and relationship building skills• DBS (we can process one for you)If you are interested in this highly rewarding SEN Instructor position then please Apply Nowand we will be in touch to discuss the role in more detail.
