Quality Engineer Ely, Cambridge Full Time Permanent role.Our Client based in the Ely, Cambridge area are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer / Quality Inspector to join the team on a full time permanent basis.Our Client specialises in Precision CNC Machining, Prototype components or full Production run. Manufacturing components from a wide range of materials.Responsibilities:*Experience working as a Quality Inspector / Quality Engineer ideally with CMM experience* Liaising with customers should issues arise.*knowledge of various machining practices, Milling, Turning, Griding ect.. to enable problem solving Quality based issues.* Must be able to work using own initiative but also able to work as part of a team.* Experience with Shadow Graphs, Manual Measuring equipment and gauges.* Must be conscientious, Motivated, hardworking, reliable and honest.* Maintain our current ISO 9001-2015 accreditation* Maintain and update quality Documentation, including inspections records, reports and procedures, calibration and training matrix* Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality procedures* First and final inspection of manufactured componentsHours of work Monday - Thursday 8:30 3:30 - and Friday 8:30 - 2pm (flexible of start/finish timeSalary depends on experience.CMM or Inspection or CMM Inspector or Quality Inspector / Quality EngineerRequired skills
