Start Date: ASAP Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, Flexible hours Salary: £50,000 Benefits: 23 days holiday (which rises as the length of the service increases) + bank holidays, 5% Pension contribution, Private family health insurance, Income Protection, Life Assurance, Social & Team events What you will be doing: - Ensuring the compliance around the manufacturing of various process control applications - Ensure the complicity of the international regulations and laws surrounding each product sale - Project manage the acquisition of 3rd party product assessment Certificates - Monitoring ongoing product lifetime compliance - Interpret International Standards Documents including legal harmonization - Technical Document writing and CAD drawing creation - Maintain product approvals required to remain competitive in the global marketplace - Manage formal application processes to all national and international external agencies - Advise the R&D teams in the preparation of compliant concepts, prototypes or full designs - Correlation & management of all technical data required - Maintain all legal, industry standard and international certifications, Accreditations, Product Technical Files, Standards, and reports. - Providing technical advice and guidance to the Sales, Marketing & Quality departments - Arranging, participating, and assisting with externally initiated company Inspection Audits. About you: - Experience of compliance within the Instrumentation, Scientific or Process measurement industries - CE, UKCA, including ATEX Directive & IECEx Scheme - Knowledge of Engineering Design Processes - Knowledge of Project Planning & Management - Knowledge of Electronic, Electro-Mechanical & Mechanical Engineering principles - Technical document/report writing - Product Compliance Engineering of modern electronic measurement equipment - Application of global compliance processes and emerging compliance trends - Consultations with Notified Bodies & accredited compliance testing authorities.
