Are you looking for an exciting Principal Electronic Design Engineer job in Ely, Cambridgeshire Then I have the perfect job opportunity for you!My client is looking for a Principal Electronic Design Engineer to join an engineering team, developing a wide range of electronics control systems related to precision automated motion control and position feedback for deployment in the photonics industry.Your responsibilities in the Principal Electronic Design Engineer job in Ely, Cambridgeshire:

  • Design new and improve existing electronic designs for precision motion control and vibration isolation systems
  • Produce detailed specifications of new products through extensive testing and characterisation activities
  • Ensure Design for Compliance is implemented in the design
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure complete knowledge transfer of products into production
Requirements and qualifications for the Principal Electronic Design Engineer job in Ely, Cambridgeshire:
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven hands-on experience of electronics product design digital and analogue
  • Experience in digital design (familiar with ARM processors desirable)
  • Experience in embedded software development in C
