Job Description

Ely, CambridgeshireUpto £23,000pa DOEWorking 35.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm & Fridays 8am to 1.30pm (Can be flexible on start and finish times)Do you take pride in your great work ethic and have a can do attitudeAre you used to working in a busy environment and have an a good eye for detailThis permanent position based in Ely is for a manufacturing company with a great global reputation. As a Packer you will be working between 2 key areas in the final prep and packing department, completing basic assembly, final quality checks of the manufacturedproducts to then make ready to pack and prepare for shipment.So if your looking for an entry level position or packing role that has a little more variety, I want to hear from you!What you will be doing:

  • Final quality checks of manufactured products with some basic mechanical assembly
  • Weigh, pack, and label completed items ready for shipment.
  • Completing check lists to ensure correct product have been packaged.
  • Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, etc.
  • Inputting all data onto company system

What youll need:
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse or stores environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Good computer skills with good attention to detail.
  • A strong work ethic with a can do attitude.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varied nature of work and workload.
