Manager of Air Traffic Services (MATS) Join our dynamic team at Cambridge City Airport, where were seeking a skilled Manager of Air Traffic Services (MATS) to ensure the safety and compliance of our air traffic function. This exciting role offers theopportunity to oversee air navigation services provision (ANSP) at one of the UKs premier airports while ensuring adherence to EASA and CAA regulatory standards. Benefits: Competitive salary package Generous holiday allowance with potential for increase Pensioncontributions up to 9% Healthcare cash plan for you and your family Extensive flexible benefit program Responsibilities: As the Manager of Air Traffic Services, you will: Provide managerial oversight to ensure compliance with EASA regulations and CAP 670.Supervise the day-to-day provision of air traffic control services in accordance with MATS. Manage the accuracy and compliance of the Manual of Air Traffic Services. Develop and implement a Safety Management System aligned with aviation safety standards. Leadbudget development and performance management for ATS. Ensure all ATS personnel are adequately qualified, trained, and assessed. Promote a culture of safety and compliance above financial considerations. Maintain a safe and efficient Air Traffic Engineeringfunction. Monitor operational and engineering standards to ensure best practices. Facilitate technical safeguarding assessments in accordance with CAP670. Undertake incident reporting and investigation procedures as necessary. Requirements: Strong focus ondriving delivery and performance improvement. Experience in managing air traffic services or related fields. Familiarity with ANSP regulations and air traffic management principles. Proficiency in change and project management. Excellent communication andstakeholder management skills. Ability to work in a complex and dynamic environment. Degree or equivalent experience related to Air Traffic Environment preferred. Professional qualification or chartered status desirable. Previous experience as an Air TrafficController or Manager preferred. GSAT approval and security clearance required. Incident investigation and risk analysis training preferred. Additional Information: Location: Cambridge, with some flexibility for remote work. Occasional business travel required.Physically able to access visual control room in ATC tower via stairs.
