Job Description

This Ely based FMCG as looking for a Management Accountant to play an important role in smooth running of the business at a number of their entities. The role will have responsibility for the transactional finance duties as well as producing detailed analysisto share with a number of stakeholders to help drive key strategic decisions.Client DetailsThis FMCG based in Ely are able to provide a stable work environment with plenty of flexibility once settled in the role. The Management Accountant will be working in an environment which has learning and development at the centre of what they do, and wouldprovide plenty of opportunities internally for the successful candidate.DescriptionThe Management Accountant will be responsible for:

Overseeing the transactional finance; AP, AR and Bank Reconciliations
Ensuring the VAT is calculated and processed in a timely and accurate manner
Responsibility for month end tasks; trial balance, prepayment, accruals and fixed assets
Producing monthly accounts with strong cash flow reports
Liaise with the stakeholders of European entities, providing key information to inform strategy decisions
Assisting with the budgeting process for European entities
Review general ledger reconciliations

ProfileThe successful candidate for the Management Accountant will:

Be actively studying a professional qualification; ACCA, CIMA or ACA
Have strong communication abilities, comfortable dealing with a broad range of stakeholders
Be a strong user of Excel, able to perform V LookUps and Pivot Tables as a minimum
Be confident with financial systems; Microsoft DynamicsAX would be advantageous
Previous experience within the FMCG sector, or similar, would be advantageous
