Job Description

Machine OperativeOne foot in the door with an opportunity to expand your knowledge in CNC machining!Being trained on how to operate a variety of machines you will need to be hands on with the willingness to learn and show strong attention to detail. Any previous experience in CNC is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided but previousexperience within a manufacturing environment is a must!Requirement

  • Previous experience operating Fanuc CNC machinery desirable but not essential
  • Basic Microsoft Office application skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Previous manufacturing experience
The Role
  • Set up jigs and operate various CNC machines including but not limited to CNC milling centres and CNC lathes.
  • To operate a drilling/rapping machine
  • To operate a variety of machinery
  • Communicate product status accurately both verbally and written
  • Maintaining high levels of attention to detail
  • To cross train when required to support other units
  • Problem solving/quick thinking.
The Package for CNC Machinist
  • Monday- Thursday 06:00-14:30 & Friday 06:00-13:00
  • 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
