Job Description

Our client is a large science and technology components and solutions company.They are currently recruiting for a logistics coordinator to join the friendly team in a state-of-the-art facility. If you want to join a company that cares about its people then this is the right job for you.As a logistics coordinator you will be:

  • Liaising with Business Development on sample kit and logistics proposals
  • Responsible for the Line Management of the logistics team
  • Preparing Clinical Lab Manuals, sample shipment, and requisition forms
  • Designing kits i.e., determine required kit components, including labels from our LIMS system, source them, and liaise with suppliers on timelines
  • Managing shipment schedule & deal with changing timelines, kit numbers, queries from sites, etc. directly with the customer
  • Sorting out issues with shipments and dealing with customs documentation
  • Invoicing shipment costs and conducting shipment invoicing reconciliation
  • Monitoring expiry of kits and components
  • Continually review the service ensuring we are meeting external and internal customer needs.
  • Recording keeping in compliance with GxP
  • Working closely as part of a team, supporting one another to achieve our customers goals
As a logistics coordinator you will have

As a logistics coordinator you will ideally have:
  • Experience working in a central laboratory or specimen collection kit and logistics setting
  • Familiarity with EU Customs documentation
