Job Description

Salary: CompetitiveHours of work: 8.00am - 4.30pm (flexible). Full time and part time* applications will be considered with hybrid working options for the right candidate.(*Part time 22.5hrs per week, equivalent to 3 days).Location: ElyCompany benefits: 25 days holiday plus public holidays, company pension, private health care, free onsite parking, and a large canteen.We have partnered with a manufacturing company based in Ely and they are looking for a positive, enthusiastic, Learning and Development Administrator to assist the Learning and Development Manager with all training activities within the company.Duties & Responsibilities of the Learning & Development Administrator:

  • Co-ordinating and monitoring the training requirements for all staff.
  • Answering training enquiries via email and telephone in a timely manner.
  • Working with training providers to book courses and ensure purchase requisition are completed.
  • Maintaining training records for all members of staff.
  • Co-ordinating delegates attending external training courses (e.g., bookings, joining instructions, travel arrangements etc.).
  • Striving to ensure all courses are fully booked and cancellations are back filled quickly.
  • Ensuring all training activities are scheduled, communicated, administered, and recorded.
  • Utilising the LMS for all training records and supporting staff to engage with it.
  • Onboarding training for new employees.
Skills required for the Learning & Development Administrator:
  • Previous administrative experience in a similar role would be ideal.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and solid accuracy when recording/maintaining information.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience of using a Learning Management System (LMS) or HR System (HRS).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team.
