Job Description

Internal Sales ExecutiveLocation: Ely, CambridgeshireSalary: £30k - £33k, coupled with a 25% monthly bonus potential (OTE £40,000 - £41,250) Working Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to FridayOur client, a renowned supplier of internal doors, hardware, and ancillary products is seeking a talented Sales Executive to join their team and cover a designated geographic area.The Role:You will work closely with the external Area Sales Manager to proactively engage potential customers, aiming to secure new business opportunities. Additionally, you will foster strong relationships with existing customers, with a focus on generating repeatbusinessDuties:

  • Effectively manage the sales pipeline from initial quote to final sale
  • Nurture and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels, including inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls, emails, and internet queries
  • Direct qualified opportunities to the appropriate Area Sales Manager for further development and closure
  • Meet monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and weekly touchpoints, including daily phone time and closed sales
  • Continuously update and expand the prospect database within the assigned area, while ensuring accurate information in the CRM system
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent telephone communication skills, with a strong phone presence and experience handling busy phone lines.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively listen to customers and deliver effective presentations.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
