Job Description

Financial Controller, Ely £55,000 - £65,000 plus bonusAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a rapidly growing Manufacturing business in Ely with continued exciting growth plans.This role will suit a qualified accountant with strong management/leadership experience, tonnes of energy and the ability to influence and communicate effectively.Reporting to the Managing Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Presenting the management accounts to Board level
  • Identifying and suggesting solutions to issues arising from the management accounts
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Managing cash
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Quarterly management reporting
  • Forecasting and budgeting
  • Manage HMRC enquires including payroll and VAT
  • UK tax and quarterly VAT returns
  • P11ds annually
  • Fixed assets
  • Management of team pf 4.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Experience of managing within a fast-paced, growing business
  • Strong IT and systems skills, particularly Excel
  • Sage experience would be beneficial
  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
