I am currently recruiting a financial controller based in Ely who has sole responsibility for the day to day accounts of the holding company, main trading company, and sister company.External reporting responsibilities include monthly CIS returns, quarterly VAT returns including Domestic Reverse Charge and Postponed VAT, an annual CITB return, and ad hoc returns to the Office of National Statistics. At year end the financial controllerprepares the accounts for review by the auditors and then liaises with the auditors to agree any adjustments and finalise the accounts.Main duties will include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank reconciliations, Company credit cardsmatching receipts to monthly statements, credit control and cash management. You will also deal with all Month End Reporting, Payroll journal, accrualsand prepayments and detailed review of the months revenueDaily transactions are recorded using Sage Cloud 50, and Xero for the smaller sister company, and then at month end Excel is used to create management accounts for review by the managing director.The company offers a good pension, health insurance and an excellent working environment and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.To discuss this opportunity in more detail please contact Mark Wishart at Pure on
