Job Description

The Finance Director will play a pivotal role in the strategic decision-making process within the FMCG industry, providing financial guidance and support to the Accounting & Finance department, while driving business growth in Ely.Client DetailsOur client is a leading player in the FMCG sector with a workforce of over 2,000 employees. They produce and supply a wide range of consumer goods to various retailers across the UK.Description

  • Leading the finance team and overseeing all financial operations.
  • Providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
  • Driving the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
  • Developing financial and tax strategies.
  • Overseeing the companys transaction processing systems.
  • Monitoring and directing the implementation of strategic business plans.
  • Participating in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
ProfileA successful Finance Director should have:
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Chartered Accountant status is desirable.
  • Experience in a senior finance role within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to make strategic financial decisions.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and statistical packages.
