Job Description

Are you an experienced finance or office administrator looking for your next challenge Do you have a passion for numbers with excellent attention to detail If the answer is yes to all the above read on to find out if this exciting job opportunity couldbe for you! This role would be suitable for those with administrative / financial experience within a smaller business.Start Date: ASAPLocation: ElyDuration: On going, TemporaryHours: Monday - Friday, 08:30am-17:00pm with 1-hour unpaid breakSalary: £22,000Benefits: Life Insurance, Gym membership, BUPA, Volunteering leave policy, Pension schemeFinance Assistant duties:

  • Allocate daily cash as received - cheques or electronic payments
  • Raising invoices and issue credit notes
  • Liaise with other departments to address account or invoice issues
  • Assist with prompt collections through issuing statements, sending letters, making phone calls
  • Solve any customer account queries make sure they are resolved in a timely manner
  • Keep the system updated with contact details and new/amended or deleted accounts
  • Chase for cash collections and communicate with customers regarding any debt queries
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Good time management skills
  • Strong relationship management
  • Good communication skills
  • PC skills using bespoke software
  • Microsoft office skills (Excel and Outlook)
  • Good telephone manner
