Job Description

Michael Page delighted to share on behalf our client that we are seeking a Field Care Manager to work in Cambridgshire.

  • Deliver a service of excellent care, being the quality lead for the branch
  • Lead in setting up new schemes
  • You will have overall accountability for ensuring assessment for new people that we support, and the development and implementation of individuals support plans are robust;

  • Operate over 400 care homes and 20 rehabilitation centres across the country and we provide specialist care and support to people at home and in the wider community.

  • DescriptionWorking as a Field Care Manager in Ely youll:
  • Lead the Field Care Supervisors to ensure the review and maintenance of all support plans to ensure the ongoing suitability of the support that is being provided, including daily outings, holidays or recreational pursuits;
  • Be responsive to the teams, families and external parties
  • Recording and completing any appropriate documentation in order to ensure that individuals records, observations, or research results are accurate and informative. Providing this information upon request to the Branch Manager or Operations Manager
  • Arranging, planning and conducting the supervisions and appraisals of field care supervisors as and when required.Attending, participating and contributing to relevant multi-disciplinary meetings for the people that we support.
  • Carrying out other duties designated by the Branch Manager and be the acting Branch Manager in their absence.
  • Working hours be that shifts and visits are on a staffing rota including weekdays, weekends, split shifts, wake nights, sleep-in and bank holidays as required, and at multiple sites.
  • Plan and participate in the on call service on a rota basis. Ensures that all individuals participating in on call, fully utilised and adhere to the on call policy and completion of on call records.
  • To lead and undertake Field Support Supervisors development, through coaching and training.
  • To participate in other off rota staffs development needs, as identified by the branch manager.
  • Profile
  • Previous experience working in a management role or as a Field Care Manager is required
  • Managing more than one service is required.
  • Must have NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Must be a driver.
