Job Description

A Thriving School in Ely, Cambridgeshire is Seeking for an EYFS TeacherJanuary 2024Wayman Education is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated EYFS Teacher to join a reputable primary school in Ely, Cambridgeshire, East of England from January 2024. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track recordof delivering excellent teaching in a KS1 setting. Aside from that, the successful KS1 Teacher will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience.Interviews will be happening on a rolling basis over the next two weeks; do not hesitate to get in touch today to find out more about this EYFS teacher role for October!Responsibilities of an EYFS teacher:

  • As an EYFS teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in EYFS, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the EYFS curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual childs learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
  • Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Keeping track of childrens progress and occasionally reporting back to parents
