Enrobing Technician £Salary negotiable plus good benefits The purpose of the Enrobing Technician is to help run the print production lines. This is a brand new department, new machinery, clean setting, a new team and the opportunity to help make progress. Key Accountabilities for the Enrobing Technician•Ensure enrobing machinery is running to standard cycle speeds with minimum material wastage and product is manufactured within specification•Carry out product changes correctly to SOCs, and mix ink to match specifications, within an appropriate time period•Carry out machine tool and insert changes correctly to SOCs within an appropriate time period•Support and cover operators/multiskilled when required•Diagnose technical machine problems and carry out advanced fault finding/trouble shooting•Complete quality checks as and when required & enter results correctly in to the QMS•Clean machinery and equipment in line with department standards•Carry out basic maintenance within the department as required•Ensure all machines and equipment are used safely and in line with the Standard Operating Procedures•Keep plastic properly separated no mixed plastics •Comply with all current Health & Safety policies and procedures, updating systems as required•Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards in the work area and around machines when they are down•Adopt working practices to comply with Company and general health and safety requirements•Communicate with team leaders and all other personnel as requiredThe ideal candidate for the Enrobing Technician will have the following•Enrobing/Gluing Manufacturing Experience•Busy production environment, high volume•Team working•Manual handling•Packaging Hygiene standards•Thermoforming Manufacturing Experience (beneficial)•Good working knowledge of packaging process•Mechanically minded•Understanding of some continuous improvement tools & techniques•Basic IT skills (Microsoft office, ERP system (M3))•Knowledge of thermoforming & print, gluing processes, technical problem solving•High knowledge of continuous improvement tools & techniques •Good working knowledge of ERP systems & Microsoft office packages For more details on this new and exciting position, please contact Lisa Parsons.
