Job Description

Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Lead D&A recruitment are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Lead to join an exciting growing business based in Ely. This a new role created due to the growing demands of the marketing department.The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing business, working collaboratively with the Marketing Manager and other key stakeholders to deliver successful digital marketing strategies and drive e-Commerce revenue. The key to this role is being able to take a collaborative approach with internal & external teams to identify opportunities & develop effective solutions.Job requirement:Digital Marketing:

  • Utilise your expertise and passion for digital marketing to support the Marketing Manager to build and execute the digital marketing plan;
  • Create and implement integrated digital advertising campaigns to deliver on a range of key objectives including ROAS, sign ups & returning users;
  • Analyse customer journeys and behaviour to develop and improve the effectiveness of the websites and to optimise SEO performance;
  • Own social media marketing campaigns with highly engaging and compelling social media post across channels;
  • Design, develop and deliver targeted email marketing campaigns using MailChimp;
  • Develop, automate & maintain reporting on all digital marketing channels to generate actionable insights;
  • Complete regular research of competitor online activity and recommend digital marketing initiatives to amplify the digital reach;
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to plan and manage the online marketing to ensure all digital marketing campaigns are delivered on budget and with cost visibility
  • E-Commerce:
  • In collaboration with the Marketing Manager, create, implement and monitor a bespoke e-Commerce marketing strategy on an annual basis and to update this on a quarterly basis, tracking and reporting on key achievements and any issues;
  • Evolve e-Commerce website to deliver best-in-class user experience for customers. Regularly implement e-Commerce campaigns and evaluate results, recognising areas for improvement;
  • Monitor SEO performance and implement best practices and standards for our customer’s web activities, ensuring compliance with data protection legislation (currently GDPR);
  • Work closely with the Sales Function to identify and exploit e-Commerce opportunities with key accounts;
  • Continuously monitor our customer’s web page(s) and sales performance, identifying ways to improve our brand performance and drive customer engagement;
  • Responsibility for resolving content issues with key account customer websites as and when they arise, highlighting any more complex problems to the Marketing Manager;
  • Skills and Experience Required:
  • Experience of working B2B within a company that is centred on a strong brand identity
  • Marketing qualifications or relevant experience
  • WordPress experience
  • Experience of e-Commerce and digital marketing
  • Experience of working across functions and liaising with customers
  • Experience of SEO, and analysis tools such as Google Analytics
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • An understanding of the latest trends and their impact commercially
  • Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
