About the RoleAt our Ely site we are looking to recruit Die Prepping Operatives in our production area. You will work within a team in a fast-paced environment reporting to the Shift Manufacturing Manager.You will be responsible for the preparation of the die cutters for the following machines XL platen, Small Youngshin, Large Youngshin, Elitron and Guillotine.This role is key to the operation making sure all die cutters are prepared ready for the operators on each shift. You will also be responsible for the die storage areas, ensuring the dies are organised in the correct bays and the MIS information is keptup to date.Health and safety is a very important aspect within our business and you will be accountable for your own and others health and safety whilst at work, operating within the DS Smith safe systems of work guidelines.The role requires you to work with a variety personnel within your area of production and work with the teams in the other departments across the site.About you
