Our client is a prominent fast-growing company engaged in the development of coating material technologies.This is an exceptional role for an ambitious R& D Manager with prior experience of running multidisciplinary laboratories (chemistry, product development) to join an exciting company on the forefront of innovation.The R & D Manager will be responsible for managing the product development and technical programs. This includes participating in the planning of R & D programs; conducting and/or supervising R&D projects and providing technical advice.Preferred Skills:BSc 1st Class Hons or MSc in a Chemistry related discipline.4-5 years of experience in laboratory and managing R&D teams in the science based environment.Experience in coordinating R&D programmes and analyse complex data and make recommendations.Experience in manage SOP / Instructions for analytical methods and equipment.Experience in managing of new product from R&D to commercial release; qualification, testing, standard compliance and manufacturing methodsThe R & D Manager should be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:Self-motivation and have ability to work independently and under pressure.The ability to liaise with clients on technical mattersHave excellent attention to details as well as ability to multi-task.Good numeric skills and computer literacy.An aptitude and enthusiasm for problem solving.The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.To apply for this position, candidates must be living and eligible to work in the UK.Skills: Polymer, Materials, chemistry, Project management, Coating, Polyester, Polyurethane
