Job Description

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer, in their search for Logistics Coordinator to work in their facility in Ellesmere Port.For the successful Logistics Coordinator, our client is offering:

  1. £25,000 per annum
  2. Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm
  3. Temp to perm role
  4. Company pension
  5. Free car parking
The role – Logistics Coordinator:
  1. Raising shipping paperwork and invoices prior to shipment
  2. Liaise with distribution to ensure smooth shipment of orders for the UK and overseas
  3. Coordinate and consolidation of all shipments via courier/freight forwarder
  4. Production of material certification, test certification and documentation in accordance with order requirements and aerospace industry
  5. Negotiate prices and arrange a collection or delivery of goods as and when required
  6. Perform internal processing of work orders daily through our internal management system (estelplan)
What our client is looking for in a Logistics Coordinator:
  1. Previous experience within a shipping role ESSENTIAL
  2. Working knowledge of Incoterms. (DDP, FOB, FCA) ESSENTIAL
  3. Understanding of ITAR and government regulation ESSENTIAL
  4. Computer literate
  5. Ability to understand and interpret customs documents and processes
  6. Problem solving skills
