Job Description

HGV Mechanic | Cheshire | Full-Time | £35,000 - £40,000paOur client is independently owned and has been established for over 23 years. They are experts in the road tanker industry and are best placed to assist their customers with all of their road tanker requirements.From sourcing new and used tankers that meet requirements to short and long-term vehicle hire and even health and safety and management consultancy, theyve got it covered.Shift patterns are 6 am-2 pm and 2 pm-10 pm, you will work every other Saturday 6 am-12 pm which is paid at an overtime rate of 1.5 times the normal salary.What can you expect in return

  • Level 3 qualification
  • Driving licence is essential
  • Heavy goods vehicle licence is preferred but is not essential
  • Competent with paperwork
  • Good communication skills to liaise with office staff and customers
  • Must be able to work on own initiative
  • Provide own tools
What will my role as an HGV/LGV Mechanic look like
  • Service, maintenance, and repairs to a range of vehicles, including petroleum and LPG
  • Diagnosing faults and rectifying defects
  • Support workshop team members including Apprentice Technicians as required
