Group Procurement ManagerManufacturing IndustryEllesmere Port£50,000 - £60,000 (Flexible Dependant on experience)Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 (Flexible working offered)Im currently recruiting for a Group Procurement Manager to join an award-winning vehicle accessory manufacturing company based in Ellesmere Port.My client is seeking a dynamic Group Procurement Manager to manage an 8-strong team of planners and senior buyers.Key Benefits:

The Candidate:
  • 5 years experience in procurement with at least 2-years experience in managing a team.
  • Experience in an automotive or manufacturing business.
  • Exceptional Negotiation Skills
  • Experience of production planning and inventory management
  • Degree educated with MCIPS (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to multitask and prioritise, which allows you to deliver on commitments made and do what you say you will do.
  • Your ability to look at issues differently sets you apart.
  • Ability to clearly cascade your strategy within your department.
The Role:
  • Defining the strategy for the group procurement department.
  • Ensuring robust supply chains and partnerships are in place to maximise value and minimise costs.
  • Ensuring clear objectives and targets are set and managed against KPIs.
  • You will champion your team and mentor and coach to ensure optimum results.
  • Responsible for managing key areas of direct and indirect spend.
  • Continuously analyse and interpret market intelligence to ensure optimum outcomes.
