Job Description

This position is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Accountant seeking to gain relevant experience within finance in order to kick-start their career. The successful candidate will play an integral role within the Accounting & Finance team based in EllesmerePort.Client DetailsOur client is an exciting, professional business who are constantly expanding.   • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Perform general bookkeeping and organise financial forms
  • Participate in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
  • Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad-hoc tasks
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve financial procedures
  • Help in the preparation of VAT returns and year-end accounts
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the financial system and processes
ProfileA successful Trainee Accountant should have:
  • Knowledge of standard accounting procedures and principles
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
