Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gatehouse Security officer to work a mixture of night and day shifts.working 3 nights, 3 days 3 off work pattern, which averages a 42hrs per working week, inclusive of 20 days annual overtimeHere at Securitas we guard and protect a variety of clients across the globe, these range from banks, retail chains, and leisure venues through to corporate offices. Securitas is encouragingand empowering diversity & inclusion in the workplace and has been recognised with both UK SuperBrand and UK Top Employer awards for 2020/21.As a Gatehouse Security Officer, you will be protecting the customers employees, property, and other assets.How you will make an impact:

  • Based within a busy Gatehouse booking in and out visitors and vehicles.
  • Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV.
  • Conduct external and internal security patrols.
  • Maintain all logbooks and records.
  • Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to management.
  • Provide support, guidance, and information to all staff, visitors, and contractors
  • Identify opportunities for improving practices and processes
