Job Description

Would you like to work for a company who believes that their workforce are at the forefront of their success and work hard to promote a great working environment A successful company who are branching out into new regions and looking for great employeeslike you to contribute to it’s success This could be the job for you……Our client, a well-established and reputable Civil Engineering Main Contractor with an annual turnover of £100 million, are looking to recruit an Estimator to join their civil engineering team on a permanent basis in Ellesmere Port. A recent run of successfulproject wins in the North of England has resulted in them looking to expand and grow their existing team in order to deliver the additional workload.As the Estimator covering projects largely across North of England, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the company in the region. Our client is looking for an experienced Estimator who will work on multiple projects from tenderthrough to final account, which will be of a civil engineering nature.You will work closely with the estimating team and will be responsible for:

  • The effective registration, control and administration of tender documentation.
  • Develop detailed and achievable packages and agree with the end clients.
  • Take offs from drawings and production of cost-effective tenders from first principles.
  • The effective analysis and pricing of risks.
  • The preparation of tender submission documents and estimating reports.
  • Provide assistance for proposals and contract management functions.
Essential requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant subject or the equivalent estimating in a similar role.
  • Groundwork and Civil Engineering project experience.
  • Experience as an Estimator within Civil Engineering.
