Job Description

Job Title: Yard Labourer with Forklift LicenseLocation: Edinburgh EH14Salary: £25,000 per annum + BonusHours: 40 hours per weekWe are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Yard Labourer with a valid Forklift License to join our Client in Edinburgh EH14. This role is crucial to the efficient operation of the yard and requires an individual who possesses the necessary certificationto operate a forklift. You will be required to work a half day every second Saturday.Responsibilities:

  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize materials within the yard.
  • Material Handling: Assist in the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Yard Maintenance: Keep the yard clean and organized, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet daily operational goals.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and your colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Forklift License: Possess a valid forklift license and demonstrate proficiency in forklift operation.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
  • Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
