Our client a thriving financial planning practice based in central Edinburgh and are looking for a trainee paraplanner to join our growing business.The role will involve working closely with the existing senior paraplanner to support the company directors and advisers in looking after a portfolio of high net worth clients. The successful candidate will be provided with a broad exposure to financialplanning matters, as well as full support in their traineeship.Skills and experience required:Administration/paraplanning experience in a financial services environmentA strong grasp of Microsoft Word and Excel.Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, particularly numeracy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with grammar being of particular importance.A willingness to learn and work towards qualifications.Able to act professionally with integrity and discretion at all times.Day to day responsibilities will include:Assisting in the production of client facing documents such as client investment reviews and suitability reports.Liaising with providers in order to obtain necessary information and documentation.Providing support to the advisers and the senior paraplanner as required
