Job Description

An award-winning FinTech business is looking for a Test Manager to join their team to provide oversight for all the Functional and Non-Functional Testing within the Delivery team to ensure on time to quality delivery in compliance with their SDLC. Thisrole will be based out of any of their UK Offices.You will be responsible for risks, issues, timelines, and quality as well as providing oversight. Furthermore, you will work closely with Project Managers, Delivery Management, Solution Consultants, Analysts, Infrastructure and Release Management functionsacross multiple projects.As Test Manager, you will:

  • Be the single point of contact for all client interactions on Managed Test Services (MTS)
  • Be responsible for MTS scope, approach, and schedule agreements with customers
  • Be responsible for making sure that all MTS deliveries align to MTS processes and reuse of MTS assets is maximised
  • Be responsible for managing delivery/risks/dependencies and delivering within agreed quality, schedule, and cost thresholds
  • Be responsible for bringing together all aspects of MTS services by working in close collaboration with MTS Control Centre (TCC), Delivery Managers (TDMs) and Design (TD) functions
  • Act as the MTS representative in all client forums and governance meetings
  • Facilitate risk workshops with clients to drive test bed optimisation activities
We are looking for a Test manager who has the following skills and experiences:
  • Career test professional with strong background in Financial Services
  • Extensive experience of working in client facing delivery/engagement roles
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Extensive experience in managing large scale UAT and SIT activities
  • Hands-on in both functional and non-functional aspects
  • Extensive experience in fast paced Agile environments
  • Experience of delivering services using near shore and offshore teams
  • Extensive experience in JIRA, XRAY
  • Deep understanding of matrices, KPIs, SLAs, benchmarks etc.
  • Should be able to articulate complex data in easily palatable form
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Efficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Adaptability as we are looking for someone that can shift between projects and workload and be productive quickly.
  • Proactive - Ability to identify and discuss improvements to current processes.
  • Ability to work effectively and to prioritise own and teams workload.
  • Highly self-motivatedachiever of targets, both personally and through team.
  • Effective team player with ability to build strong working relationships and motivate others.
  • Propensity toward improving own and others performance and achievement of objectives.
