Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation based in Edinburgh, are currently looking to recruit a Test Analyst for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of c.£350-400/day (outside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances this role will initially be remote based. The Role:The purpose of this Test Analyst role is to identify and subsequently define the required tests, monitoring the test coverage and evaluating the overall quality experienced when testing in new digital transformation application solution projects, including Witness Portal, Defence Agent Portal and AI/Automation of the organisations Case Management systems.Responsibilities:• Complete all functionality testing against the pre-approved requirements. • Understand scope and product requirements and test against product acceptance criteria • End to End application testing (stress, test, functionality and volume) • Writing and executing test scripts • Report results timeously and provide detailed defect reports. • Reviewing documentation & quality assurance• Status reports to Senior tester and/or Test Manager/Lead Essential Skills: • Demonstrable experience of working across all test phases including non-functional is essential. • Proven experience across all areas of the project life cycle as a Test Analyst e.g. defining tests, execution of test, bug creation and reporting. Should have 3-5 years test experience is a minimum. • Experience of Agile Software Development Principles. • Experience of working with Jira, Zephyr and Confluence software systems.
