Job Description

Are you ready to dive into an exciting full-time opportunity in EdinburghJob Title: Temporary ReceptionistLocation: Princess Street (Fully office-based role)Hours: Monday to Friday, 9AM - 5PMSalary: £11.50 per hourStarting: Week commencing 18th December for a handover (client is closed on 24th/25th December and 1st/2nd January)Duration: Ongoing basis that is reviewed monthlyAre you organised, detail-oriented, and looking for a Finance role in EdinburghAt Office Angels, our fantastic client is seeking a Temporary Receptionist to join their team and provide essential support. If you have a knack for front of house and customer service roles, then this position is perfect for you!Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient reception duties, including answering the telephone, greeting visitors, and assisting with security passes.
  • Arrange catering for meetings and assist with staff catering requirements including social lunch and breakfast.
  • Ensure all office areas and meeting rooms are kept clean, presentable, and well stocked with required materials.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail, arrange for outgoing mail to be processed and arrange couriers when necessary.
  • Arrange and assist with off-site meetings, events, and venue hire.
  • Provide general administration and clerical support to the Corporate and wider teams.
  • Liaise with office suppliers for consumables, recycling, deliveries etc.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal,
  • A strong customer service ethos with a positive, "here-to-help" mindset,
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar customer-facing role,
  • Excellent organisational skills,
  • A focused, dedicated, and willing attitude.
  • Proficiency in PC literacy and Microsoft Office systems,
  • Driven and motivated.
