Job Description

Temporary Admin Support Assistants required by a leading not for profit organisation based in Edinburgh city centre. The Admin Support Assistant will assist in contacting donors / supporters via phone and email – they will be the first point of contact providing a welcoming, informative and professional service. There are 2 temporary roles availablePay rate - £12.00 per hour (PAYE)PLEASE NOTE THESE TEMPORARY ROLES ARE FULLY OFFICE BASEDApplicants must be available to start from week commencing 27th November 2023 (as there will be training and induction day(s) prior to starting).These temporary roles are officially starting on Monday 4th December 2023 for circa 3 weeks (up to and including 24th December 2023) – it is essential that ALL applicants must be able to commit to the entirety of the temporary assignment too.Working Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 5.00pm – there will also be occasional weekend shifts too – applicants will need to be flexible with working arrangementsDuties:

  • Providing an effective administration service – email, telephone, Teams / Zoom etc
  • Contacting donors / supporters / volunteers / customers via phone and email
  • Data entry and database management - ensuring that data is accurate and up to date when recorded on the CRM
  • Managing enquiries signposting and liaising with the relevant colleagues as required, escalating issues as appropriate to the line manager
  • Any other general admin duties as required by the team – including monitoring social media inboxes and voicemails, as well as assisting with campaign logistics
