  • Team Leader - Days (7:45pm to 8am) / nights (19:45pm - 08:00am)

Do you have the same sort of attributes Then we could have just the role for you.What youll be doingBeing a Team Leader Is about acting as a role model by leading and supervising carers day-to-day, working alongside them and completing regular staff appraisals. Its also about taking responsibility for case managing residents and liaising with families,health care professional and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered. Working closely with nurses to develop the services we provide is an important aspect of the role too, as is administering medication and carryingout risk assessments. Put simply, its about making a difference. A real difference.What youll needWell-organised, IT literate and adept at allocating and delegating work appropriately, you have a proven ability to lead and supervise others and a good understanding of care planning processes. Whats more, youre trained, or willing to train, to administermedication and used to contributing to, monitoring and implementing changes that improve outcomes for residents.   • Our team at Murrayside care home in Edinburgh offer an impressive range of care, from short-term respite to permanent care for residents living with dementia including residential, nursing and end of life care in a state of the art care purpose build carehome which opened in 2018. Murrayside has 63 en-suite bedrooms and has a cinema room, hairdressers, caf and large spacious living areas.We were delighted to receive a good overall rating by the Care Inspectorate after our routine inspection in November 2019.Based in Corstorphine, Murrayside care home is close to local bus routes and is commutable from other towns around Edinburgh including Livingston and Broxburn.
