Job Description Communities and FamiliesTeacher of Computing St. Augustine’s RC High SchoolSalary: £27,498 to £41,412Hours: 35 hours per week (part-time hours may be considered)This role is for an August 2020 startSt Augustine’s is a Catholic secondary school of approximately 820 students situated in the west of the City of Edinburgh. Its catchment area encompasses five Catholic primary schools extending from South Queensferry in the north to Balerno in the south. However, as a result of parental choice, our current S1 contains students drawn from 31 primariesSt Augustine’s stresses the importance of high levels of achievement for every student and there is a strong sense of community within the school. All staff of St Augustine’s, teaching and non-teaching, are prepared to make a positive contribution to the school as a whole and to play their part as members of the St Augustine’s community.The post is full time in a busy ICT, Enterprise and STEM department. Emphasis is on getting the best possible outcome for each of our students so resilience and creativity are welcome qualities for applicants.
