Job Description

The OpportunityWere offering the opportunity to join our Business Operations Support function as a Systems Development Specialist. You will play a pivotal role in providing systems support for a variety of teams through extracting data to perform analysis of businessrequirements, assessing the impact of change, and recommending potential solutions to support business change delivery. This would be the perfect step to build upon your skills in programming and managing databases in a project-based role.Youll be:

  • Managing system data extract activity, including requirement gathering and quality testing.
  • Working with IT and stakeholders to ensure documented business requirements are accurately translated into solutions and system requirements.
  • Applying appropriate analytical methods and techniques to shape and define business solutions, documenting them in line with agreed formats and quality standards.
  • Identifying, understanding, and challenging business issues and problems to explore underlying causes and recommend appropriate solutions or actions.
  • Contributing to production Testing Strategy and providing an escalation point for queries and issues.
  • Creating End User Computing solutions to provide a robust solution to business needs.
You should apply if you have:
  • Experience with building and maintaining databases, particularly in a project-based environment.
  • In-depth skills with Excel and SQL.
  • Experience Programming with VBA, Java or Python.
  • Some background working within the financial sector.
  • Willingness to learn independently, being a keen problem-solver and tenacious.
