Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Support Administrator for as soon as possible until 29th March 2024 on a rate of £12.15/hour PAYE. This role will be hybrid working.Responsibilities:- On a daily basis, open and scan incoming AWI application posted correspondence to IMP and to file, store and purge these in line with agreed protocols- To liaise with Casework Manager on urgent items of posted correspondence, e.g. AWI recalls.- Processing incoming Office of Public Guardian (OPG) electronic forms and electronic correspondence and upload to IMP for casework admin team to action, according to agreed protocols.- Assist as required the casework admin team by electronically scanning and verifying forms to help to reduce backlog (SCR’s, TX forms etc). - Produce type work for staff to assist the teams to carry out their responsibilities.- Investigations: transcribing audio recordings to shared agreed by casework and investigations. - AWI visits: receiving, creating, uploading and posting visit letters as required and instructed by CWM.- Co-ordinate with CWM the updating of contact lists for the organization- Co-ordinate with CWM the updating of informationEssential Skills:- Good standard of education, four standard grades- Typing proficiency- Ability to use office equipment, e.g. scanner machine- Proficient in the use of MS Office packages, word, excel and PowerPoint.- Ability to operate as part of a team- Ability to work under pressure- Good telephone manner- Knowledge of GDPR and the governance around handling of sensitive person-specific data. - Time management skills- Attention to detail.**A current Disclosure Scotland dated within the last 3 months is required - Please only apply if you currently hold one as this is an IMMEDIATE start. **If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
