Job Description

Supply Planning Manager (S&OP) - Edinburgh (Hybrid) - To 60KLoriens client, an award-winning organisation with an amazing office in the heart of Edinburgh offering a hybrid working model, is well known for its widespread subscription service (the largest of its kind in the UK (many of us here are customers ourselves).As well as this they have a great eCommerce platform, and exciting transformation and European expansion projects in play right now, so nows a great time to come on board.Starting out around a decade ago and seeing continued success, they have been growing rapidly to become an established brand and they are now looking to expand their team with a new addition in the shape of an Supply Planning Manager with S&OP, forecasting,and analytical skills to drive this area of the business, own relevant processes and put their knowledge to good use in the improvement of their internal S&OP system.Having introduced new talent to this firm ourselves already, we can also give you the positive feedback on how they operate, how friendly the team is, and even more insights as to why this could be a great new step for you - So take a look at the finer detailsbelow, and if this sounds like it might be of interest, get in touch before its snapped up.Role Outline:

  • Working with internal and external personnel to improve and build out the firms internal S&OP system
  • Producing forecasts (raw material/monthly/etc. using prior data and trends) as well as capacity planning models
  • Own processes and planning (high-level mid to long-term, production, capacity, etc.) for the business S&OP function
  • Outlining/monitoring S&OP metrics and KPIs
  • Working in a multidisciplinary team of Third-Party Logistics, Buying, Marketing, Supply, and other employees
  • Assist with and eventually manage monthly Sales and Operations Planning meetings with relevant stakeholders
  • Craft ideas for slow moving/surplus inventory
  • Work with senior leaders to improve the wider S&OP function from discussing new tooling/technologies to cost reduction planning, service and quality reviews, gap analysis and other methods
The Skills/Knowledge theyre looking for:
  • Demonstrable track record of working within the S&OP domain, ideally in Direct To Consumer settings
  • Background in crafting and improving S&OP/Supply Planning Processes
  • Ability to produce Forecast/Capacity/Supply Models
  • Advanced Excel skills, and preferably Python scripting and/or SQL skills
  • Ability to work well with key stakeholders and across different projects and departments
